4.  Giving Yourself a Blues Name

In order to be an effective Blues singer, you need an effective blues name.  Before you go any further, give yourself a cool blues name that exemplifies your bluesy personality.  You can either create one yourself, or follow the suggestions below.

Excellent names for female blues singers: Sadie, Big Momma, Bessie, or Fat River Dumpling.

Excellent names for male blues singers: Willie, Joe, Little Willie, Lightning, or Big Willie.

Singers with names like Muffy, Sierra, Holly, Alexis, Gwenyth, Brittany, or Rainbow are not permitted to sing the Blues, no matter how many men they shoot in Memphis.
 

To give your self a Blues name, follow the steps below.

1.  Name of physical infirmity (Blind, Cripple, Lame, Asthmatic).
2.  First name (from above lists) or name of fruit (Lemon, Lime, Kiwi).
3.  Last name of a U. S. president (Jefferson, Johnson).  Click if you need a list of presidents.

Here are some examples:

Epileptic Bessie Adams  (Miss Strickland)
Vision Impaired Bessie Van Buren (Mrs. Antoine)
Bald Banana Bush (Mrs. Hall)
Epileptic Johnboy Carter (Mr. Thompson)
Bald Momma Melon Monroe (an unnamed AHS administrator)
Colorblind Cranberry Cleveland (Mr. Pennisi)
