Advanced Weight Training is designed to improve the
physical and mental development of all athletes at Auburn High School. We are
dedicated to getting our athletes bigger, faster, and stronger to enable them to
compete in their respective sport at the highest level possible. Every
sport, at every level incorporates weight training in developing their
athletes. Advanced Weight Training will also incorporate speed, agility,
quickness and flexibility training. Today's athletes and coaches are
continually looking for an edge that separates them from the competition.....and
that edge, in most cases, is strength and speed development.

CLASS EXPECTATIONS- Students will engage in a variety of exercises each and every day to improve strength, speed, and athleticism. They will be expected to come to class prepared to work and determined to give their absolute best effort. Great effort is rewarded by great results in their body composition and athletic performance in their respective sport.
