If you would like to have a conference or just make contact about your student, Mrs. Barton can be reached by calling AHS or by email. The school phone number is 887-4970. Please leave a message that includes your daytime phone number and the name of your student. You may email Mrs. Barton at fjbarton@auburnschools.org Good communication between home and school is an essential element in your student's success.
Progress reports are sent home after each test and should be signed and returned to Mrs. Barton within 3 days.
Mrs. Barton is available for tutoring on Wednesday from 3:15 until 4:00 pm. Students are required to sign in as documentation of attendance. Any student that feels they are falling behind in coursework or has grades from quizzes that indicate a lack of understanding needs to come for tutoring. It gives a great opportunity for some one-on-one time with Mrs. Barton. Students are expected to come prepared to ask specific questions and have all of their homework assignments complete. Any student who is disruptive in class, attempts to sleep, or has not done the homework assignments is not permitted in tutoring time.
ssignmentsHomework assignments are given each day in class. If a student is absent and wants the assignment that day, they should email me at fjbarton@auburnschools.org . If the student is very sick and will be out for several days, I will be happy to email the intended assignments for those days. Adjustments may need to be made each day in class based on the progress of the class.
