Job description:

The creative director for highlights is in charge of the highlight beat team, helping to film, direct, and edit beat stories for highlights on AHS Today. The creative director for highlights will keep up with the highlight beat reporters’ schedules on our Tiger TV Highlight Calendar. The creative director for highlights will act as the technical director for his/her team in the newsroom. The creative director for highlights will take responsibility for maintaining and keeping up with equipment. The creative director for highlights also assists/steps in for the director in running the whole broadcast and sends verbal cues to each position.

If you are in this role, you will be graded on the following:

Student will learn aspects of management and leadership
Student will be exposed to multitasking and pressure handling
Student will be responsible for producing a show that fits time constraints and controlling a group that can follow timing
Student will be subjected to decision making and answering and directing questions from other team members
Student will learn and adapt problem solving skills
Student will take responsibility for maintaining and keeping up with equipment.
