FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a club for 6-12 graders nation-wide that are currently enrolled in or have taken at least one business course in high school.  The local FBLA chapter operates as an integral part of the school's business education program under the guidance of the business teachers, school administrators, businesspersons and the Alabama Department of Education.  Members learn how to hold office, direct the affairs of a business, how to work with representatives of other organizations, and how to compete with their colleagues on the local, state, and national level.  The club provides an atmosphere to develop leadership skills and provide opportunities.

The Goals of FBLA

  • Develop competent business and community leaders

  • Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work

  • Create understanding of the American business enterprise system

  • Develop individual projects, which contribute to the improvement of home, business & community

  • Foster scholarships and promote school loyalty

  • Establish career goals
