SECTION 504 PROTECTION

Auburn City Schools will ensure that all qualified disabled students are provided reasonable accommodations and the services necessary for them to receive a free appropriate public education.

 Adhering to the definitions, guidelines and requirements set forth in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (“Section 504”) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), Auburn City Schools prohibits all forms of discrimination against students with disabilities referred to in these statutes.

This policy extends to all aspects of the District’s educational program, facilities, and activities.
