WORK SCHEDULE
The work schedule for each professional position and support position shall be established and shall be made available prior to the opening of school to insure that each employee understands and accepts as a condition of employment the daily schedule and the calendar period.
Personnel may be assigned additional duties by the principal. Such assignments may include athletic coaching, intramural sports, instruction in music, on-the-job training and other activities, which are essential for the school program.
The schedule for all teachers shall conform to the regulations of the Board and the State Board of Education. In addition to the hours spent with instruction of pupils, teachers are expected to spend additional hours on campus attending faculty meetings, parent conferences, in-service education meetings and with other professional obligations and duties. The principal is responsible for scheduling these hours with the school staff.
