SUSPENSION OF PERSONNEL
Certified Personnel
A teacher may be suspended with pay by the Superintendent for neglect of duty, insubordination, immoral conduct or other good and just cause. The teacher may immediately appeal this action to the Board. The Board will make the decision as to the teacher’s possible return to his/her position and under what circumstances.
Support Personnel
The Board shall have the authority to reprimand, censure, or suspend with or without pay, support personnel for just cause. Such action on the part of the Board or its management shall not be for political or personal reasons on the part of the recommending authority or any member of the Board. The Board will make the decision as to the support personnel’s possible return to his/her position and under what circumstances.
