CERTIFICATION

All teachers and other instructional professional personnel will be required to hold or be qualified to hold a certificate in compliance with the provision of the law or in accordance with the regulations of the State Board of Education.

Obtaining and maintaining certificate status and maintaining a valid record thereof in the personnel office are the responsibilities of the applicant or employee, not of the school system or any of its employees.

Failure to obtain or maintain a valid certificate may be cause for termination of employment.
