EMERGENCY DRILLS

The Board requires a minimum of one fire drill to be held in each school during each month school is in session.  A fire drill shall require complete evacuation of the building.  A minimum of one tornado drill shall be held each semester.  A record shall be kept on file in each school of all emergency drills.

School personnel shall cooperate with local, state and national agencies to develop plans dealing with all possible emergencies and disasters, e.g., tornados, nuclear attack, terrorist attack, bomb threat, etc.

All doors and exits shall remain unlocked from the interior during school hours and shall meet required codes.
