Classroom Rules and Policies |
In
conducting my class, I will expect each student to adhere to the following class
rules as well as the school rules in the AJHS handbook
1.
Respect the rights of others to learn.
2.
Raise your hand and wait to be called upon before speaking.
3.
Stay seated at all times unless otherwise instructed by your teacher.
Computer Lab Rules
1.
Have FOOD, DRINK, OR GUM.
2.
Play computer games or access the Internet without permission.
3.
Touch the keyboard or mouse while someone is talking.

| Step 3 | Teacher Friday detention and parent contacted. |
| Step 4 | Parent conference |
| Step 5 | Office Referral-Severe and/or habitual
misbehavior will result in an immediate office referral. |
| Friday Detention
Policy |
| The teacher issues Friday Detentions for behavior problems.
If the student fails to attend his/her Friday Detention, an additional
Friday Detention will be assigned. If
the student continues to be a “no show”, he/she will be given an office
referral.

Make-up
Work
|
|
Make-up work
will be given only for excused absences. Students are
to schedule a time for any make-up work (before school 7:30 am or after school
3:30 pm). Students will not be
allowed to make up work during the class period. All assignments will be posted on the class assignment sheet.
