DyKnow Server Settings

(Click the 'Communication Settings' link on the Sign On screen)

Server Name or IP Address:  dyknow-server.acs.edu

 


Installing DyKnow on Your Home Computer

Prerequisites

*256 MB RAM

*Windows Vista, XP, XP Tablet PC Ed., or equivalent emulator

*Internet connection

  

1)       Go to www.dyknow.com/download, and click Download DyKnow Client.

2)       Complete the requested information, and proceed to download.

3)       When the dialog box appears, select Run.

4)       Download the Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework (free), if prompted.

5)       Accept the terms; click Next through the installer.

6)       Select Vision on the third screen.

7)       Select that you want to enter communication settings now. 

Server Name = dyknow-server.acs.edu

8)       Click Finish and Install.

 


DyKnow Notebook Writer

The DyKnow Notebook Writer lets you print content from other Windows applications into a DyKnow notebook. It is available as a free download from the DyKnow web site.
