Additional ISS rules:
Students assigned to ISS will not be allowed to participate in or attend any extra-curricular activities occurring during the day or night of an ISS assignment. This includes, but is not limited to, after school practices, performances, competitions, and clubs. Please make note of the fact that this includes one-day assignments to ISS as well. Students may NOT attend or participate in any school-sponsored activity after serving ISS on that day.

The ISS teacher will notify student’s individual classroom teachers of the ISS assignment at least one day in advance. This will be part of the process for collecting assignments. An ISS attendance roster will be posted each day to all AJHS faculty in order to verify who is present in ISS. This will help club sponsors, coaches, and directors to be aware of those students who will be missing from extra-curricular activities.
