following policies are designed to provide everyone with the opportunity to
learn. Some deal with behavior while
others deal with the way things will operate in class. Please do your personal best to make this
year a positive experience.

Behavior:
1. Be prompt

3. All rules in the student handbook
apply in class and in the hallway
Discipline
Procedures:
Failure to
follow the classroom policies of behavior may result in the following:
1. Verbal/Written warning/redirect
2. Student/teacher conference
(formal/informal)
3. Time Out (to be discussed in class)
4. Silent lunch or after school
detention (3:20 – 3:45 pm) along with parental contact (email/note/phone call)
5. Parent conference w/team
6. Administrative conference or office
referral

Grades:
Grades
will consist of homework, classwork, pop quizzes,
tests, journals, projects, group participation and group grades.
A – 90
– 100 Homework,
journals = 15% of average (for completion grades)
B – 80 – 89 Classwork,
group grades = 10% of average
C – 80
– 79 Tests,
quizzes = 75% of average
D – 65
– 69
F – below
65
Progress
reports will be sent home at the assigned times in the student handbook. Parents may request the progress of their
