How to type accent marks

Accents Chart (on computer with number keypad)

Press the "Alt" key on your keyboard while simultaneously typing in the appropriate numbers on the number keypad of your keyboard. The numbers which correspond to each accent mark are listed in the chart below.

á	= Alt +0225
é	= Alt +0233
í	= Alt +0237
ó	= Alt +0243
ú	= Alt +0250
ñ	= Alt +0241
¡	= Alt +0161
¿	= Alt +0191

Press the appropriate function key(s)--"Ctrl", "Alt", "Shift"--while simultaneously typing the desired letter or punctuation mark. The function keys and characters which correspond to each accent mark are listed in the chart below.

á, é, í, ó, ú	= CTRL+' (APOSTROPHE), the letter
ñ	= CTRL+SHIFT+~ (TILDE), the letter
