Grading 

Grades for Mrs. White’s English classes like all 9^th grade English classes are based on a point system. Each assignment is given a point value and entered into the grade book with said value attached. There is no averaging, no weighting of tests compared to homework for instance, except that tests and papers are generally 100 points and homework only 10. The student’s grade is based on the total number of accumulated points divided by the total number of possible points in a given semester.
