This letter is to inform you of the AJHS
registration process for the 2008-2009 school year. A registration card will be sent home with
your child on Monday, February 25. As a resident in the city of
a. Current copy of utility bill (within the last
2 months)
b. Property tax statement
c. Car tag receipt
d. Voters registration card
e. Valid Driver’s license
f.
List of tenants provided by the Apartment Complex, Mobile Home Park or the
Public Housing Authority that includes parent/guardian and children’s names
g.
Other documentation considered valid proof (determined by Board of
Education)
This information is required by the Auburn City Schools
Board of Education and is outlined on pages 3-4 of the Pupil Progression
Plan/Statement of Responsibilities handbook given to each student at the
beginning of the school year.
You will have three choices for submitting this
information to
1.
You may complete the enclosed information and have your student return
this to their advisory teacher on or before
Friday, February 29.
2.
You may come to the counselor’s suite (office 608) during the following
times to complete/submit the information:
Monday,
March 3 from 8:00am-2:00pm
Tuesday,
March 4 from 8:00am-2:00pm or 4:00pm-7:00pm
Wednesday,
March 5 from 8:00am-2:00pm
Thursday,
March 6 from 8:00am-2:00pm or 4:00pm-7:00pm
Friday, March
7 from 8:00am-2:00pm
3. You
may submit the information on Tuesday, February 26 during PTA Open House.
We appreciate your cooperation in registering your child
for school in a timely manner. Accurate completion of this registration card
and submission of two acceptable proofs of residency will complete your
registration for the 2008-2009 school year.
